Heavy precision fabrication activities are carried out at the two state of the art fabrication facilities at Sitargunj (Uttarakhand) and Balanagar (Hyderabad). These facilities have a production capacity of about 200 MT per month and are equipped with precision machining facilities like vertical turning lathes, horizontal borers, milling machines and high-quality automatic TIG, MIG, SAW and Flux cored welding systems.

The above two central fabrication facilities are complemented by the four fabrication shops located at Tehri (Uttarakhand), Vishnugad Pipalkoti (Uttarakhand), Bandipora (Kashmir), Sholayar (Kerala), Medigadda (Telangana) and Trongsa (Bhutan). These fabrication shops are fully covered with double girder EOT cranes and equipped with requisite cutting, rolling, welding and other fabrication equipment. Each of these fabrication shops has a production capacity of 150 MT per month.
